About Beans for Brain
Beans for Brain is a platform designed to help students and researchers improve their academic skills. It provides valuable resources, expert guidance, and workshops on research, writing, and systematic literature reviews. The goal is to make learning easier and more effective for everyone.
The Story Behind Beans for Brain
Beans for Brain was born from a long-standing intellectual vision grounded in science, engineering, and purposeful inquiry. The initiative was first conceptualised under the banner Academy of Science and Arts in 2010, with its early formative activities taking shape in 2013. At that stage, its reach was intentionally narrow, serving primarily college-level learners and focusing on foundational academic development by helping youngsters prepare for university entrance exams.
A decisive transformation occurred in 2023. Amid rapid advances in data availability, digital tools, and analytical methods, Asad Bajwa, a PhD researcher at Massey University, alongside Umair Abdullah, a senior Chemical Engineer, identified a fundamental shift in how individuals and organisations seek, interpret, and apply knowledge. In the mechanical and chemical consultancy sectors in particular, decisions were increasingly driven by fragmented information drawn from vast but unstructured datasets—often without adequate validation, context, or strategic alignment.
Recognising the growing demand for clarity, rigour, and trust in knowledge-driven decision-making, Asad Bajwa formally established Beans for Brain in 2024. The organisation was founded with a clear mandate: to transform complex information into reliable, research-backed insights that inform products, projects, careers, and strategic choices. Rooted in academic discipline and strengthened by industry perspective, Beans for Brain stands as a response to an era defined not by a lack of information, but by the urgent need for discernment, structure, and impact.
A Workshop on Systematic Literature Reviews
Mr. Asad Bajwa, CEO of “Beans for Brain” participated in a focused discussion on “Writing Systematic Literature Reviews” with fellow researchers Mr Abdollah B. Daemi and Mr Wajhat Khan, as part of the “Advanced Research Methods in Built Environment” course at Massey University. Senior Lecturer Dr Chandana Siriwardana moderated the session to facilitate an interactive and engaging learning experience.
